I found the site ww.globalerent.co.uk from this site that is renting dvds and games [only ps2 & xbox]

but the price plan didnt seem too nice, where
3 dvds [only films] -> £12.99
3 games [ps2 & xbox] -> £12.99
2 dvds + 2 games ->315.99

there could have been better deals like 3 titles [either dvd or game] for £13 - £14, so you can rent anything, game or dvd anytime you like.

does anybody knows other sites renting games and dvds???

Yep

www.mailboxmovies.com

They have a more competative pricing policy. Very good too.

But the best solution is to find a cheap

Video games rental company.

I recommend (swapgame.com) and (Gametart.com) both are very cheap and between one of these guys and a cheap dvd rental package from one of the major playes you get max value for money

I haven't been able to find deals much better than Globalerental, if you want to rent both games and DVDs. For instance, comparing the other companies mentioned:

Global - 4 items [e.g. 2 games and 2 DVDs] - £15.99
Mailbox Movies - 4 items - £20.97

Global - 2 items [e.g 2 games, or a game and a DVD] - £10.99
Mailbox - 2 items - £12.97
Gametart - 2 games £14.99

[I couldn't compare Swapgame as they gave a price of £9.99, but didn't say how many items you could rent at once].

I'm currently trialing Global - I've had a couple of hiccups, but it will be interesting to see how it pans out over the month. Their customer service is not bad - I always get personal replies fairly quickly [no automatic replies]. What they really fall down on is the selection of DVDs and games available, which is the worst I've come across so far.

Hi Bex

Thanks for the comparison

Global may well be the cheapest but it seems that because of the limited titles, people will soon make a move to pastures new.

The future of all online DVD/game rental companies is for me who can supply these two things at the best price and best selection.
