I have used many of the free trials, and am in the last of my GlobalERental 30 days (using different addresses), but I wonder if I can rejoin some of the companies I used many months ago.
LoveFilm to name one.
I also notice that many of the newer companies use LoveFilm, or MovieTrak, or some company that I've already used. Am I likely to pass their database?
What about spelling my address slightly differently, like adding a "." to the street name??

Join without free trial, I wouldnt have thought would be a problem.
I have done so with Lovefilm and Blockbuster, both accounts were cancelled after free trial, both I have activated again as a paying customer.
I am trying to do the same, but for some reason Screenselect do not want to contact me, so be careful if you wish to resign up with them.
If you mean however, can you try and use free trials again and again? Well then that's just not cricket, and will eventually put them out of business, so I certainly hope not. |

Trying to get away with another free trial at the same home address would be difficult I believe, but unsure how long they would keep such information in their database. It's always worth a try if your greedy, or want to cheat the system. |

Yes, you can.
Maybe it's not cricket, but I have had two trials with LoveFilm (not intentionally mind). As long as you use a different CC you will be OK.
In my case, I took a trial through a LoveFilm powered provider and LoveFilm themselves. I used different CCs and email addresses, (same postal address) and wasn't charged for either.
But according to T&C they can charge you for the time of the trial if you subscribe again.
I guess it's down to your morailty! I didn't feel too bad as I only got a 14 day trial through cd-wow, and a 44 day trial direct. If I had realised I could have got the 44 day trial in the first place, I'd never have taken out the 14 day one. I I didn't use the 14 day trial properly anyway, being my first I started it at a weekend, and only had one weekend I could view the DVDs.
In fact it has probably worked to their advantage, as the 44 day trial has proved that only LoveFilm, DVDS365 and ScreenSelect are worth subscribing to. I am most likely to pay for LoveFilm |

Ok, ok.. I confess, I've done the same with a few companies. I have no excuse for doing it, hehe.. LoveFilm - way to go! |
