Hi all,
Free trials are getting thin on the ground for me now so it's time to move onto the smaller players. Before I do I just wanted to check something. Rental companies such as WH Smiths and Channel4 are powered by the big players such as LoveFilm. WH Smiths and the like state in their terms and conditions (under the bit about free trials) that people who have had free trials with the company powering the site are not eligible for free trial. Do they actually cross check with the powering company? e.g. If I have had a LoveFilm trial can I still have a free WH Smiths trial is basically what I'm asking. Is the answer a general yes or no or are there some cases which are yes and some no.
Many thanks,
A |

Safest option is not to try this, people have said they have got an email saying they will be charged if they take out service after having done a lovefilm trial already.
However cross-checking maybe more then email, or postcode try at your risk.
As if you login into lovefilm site with a account from another lovefilm powered site it will redirect you to the powered site.
here are Lovefilm powered websites
It says:
| Quote: | Existing subscribers, or those who have previously enjoyed a free trial period through any online DVD rental services in partnership with or powered by LOVEFiLM, are not eligible and will be billed normally for use of the service.
