Friends of mine told me about LOVEFiLM, a couple of months later I stared my free trial (3 discs at a time).
The first couple of weeks I received a very good service and wondered why I haven’t done this months ago, that is until LOVEFiLM failed to receive one of the discs I sent back. 11 days later I got an email stating that the disk gone missing has been removed from my account and that they will send me a form I need to complete so they can investigate the missing disc with Royal Mail - a process that can take "weeks"!!
Now I have only two discs in circulation during these weeks whilst LOVEFiLM sort out their issues with Royal Mail - this still was ok, but then I heard that my friends who first told me about LOVEFiLM cancelled because of this very reason - It happened to them too and they came to the conclusion it is a deliberate stalling technique & are now using Mailbox movies, they seem to think this was a change for the better. As soon as the Christmas mail chaos is over I’ll trial mailboxmovies.com and cancel LOVEFiLM, |

I've had a disc go missing with LoveFilm recently, probably lost with all the xmas mail. I allowed 5 days, then emailed them that the disc was lost, and they emailed me about the process they must follow and yes, they'll send a form to complete, blah, blah.. but they then removed the lost DVD from the list and sent another one - that's their process I believe, so am unsure what you're going thru'? You should get another DVD; your usualy 3 DVD's. I'd email them and clarify it..
However, I have found LoveFilm to be rather slow lately in regards to turn-around compared to the other DVD companies I'm with. They're letting me down a bit, and maybe using the xmas period as an excuse... |

Extremely s-l-o-w lately, it's dissapointing as I've praised LoveFilm so they've let me down now (a bit), but still a top company.

| I haven't had that problem with love film. I think they could be faster ( i get three dvds a week, i usually send them back the day after i get them). I'm happy with the service, and i'm getting happier as the weeks go by. But i have found that they don't buy any of the dvds i recomend, even though they promise to buy all of them. |

All DVD companies are using stall tactics.
I have trailed and used Love film and was shocked at how slow the service was.
I'm with blockbuster at the moment and they aren't much better to be honest
The whole Rental DVD thing is getting tiring as you just can't get what you want all the time. |
