Now why should a user get so defensive over a company he/she has no involvement with apart from being a customer.

Hey purhaps that's why the DVD's go missing all the time, the postman get the companies mixed up!!!

Nip your head next door Kate and see if your neighbours have your lost DVD's.

The Cheeky website is still up and running, I tried to join last night but luckily there was a broken link.
About half an hour ago I put Cheeky into Google and thankfully found this forum thread, looks like I may have had a lucky escape. Phew!

For those that wanted to know, DVDMonthly.com is pretty good, I joined in November and until mid-December the turnaround was quite slow and I found myself sending them a few moany e-mails. Since then they've changed the postage and total turnaround is now 4-5 days. Pretty good considering that they're based in Holland.
They have excellent stocks of Red Light District and Zero Tolerance titles, and have a decent amount of Vivid, Private and Digital Sin titles too (I should work in their PR department, lol).
The only disappointment for me is that they don't carry any 3rd Degree or Evil Empire titles.

Hope this post has been of some interest to someone out there, if anyone has had any joy with Cheeky or has any further info then please share your experiences.
Also, anyone who is with *********-dvd-movies.net let me know how it is because I'm just about to start my free trial and don't want to get unnecessarily burned! Thanks. PS Sorry about the spam.

I joined Cheeky DVD last week, and then went through Google to look for their site and found this thread! You can imagine how worried I was... And so I told the lovely Sally at Cheeky DVD support that I had some concerns about the service following the reviews given by your kind selves... I am now posting this reply with a on my face and a song in my heart (fresh out of crochet emoticons i'm afraid) and a word of reassurance to all you disgruntled peeps... Cheeky DVD is a genuine, reliable and up front adult DVD rental site, no wierdness what so ever. Just thought I would put anyones mind at ease who (like me), is using google to find them!! I just wish someone had done that for me!! XX
