NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON

Recently my partner discovered that he had signed up to screenselect & they had taken 6 mths worth of payments from his credit card when infact he had never heard of them, a few emails to them canceled the account & a claim form from his card company got 4 payments back.

Today I discovered that my son has been signed up to screenselect, using my partners credit card again, fortunately we cancelled it again without a payment being taken, totally shocked that this has happened & that my son is only 12, credit cards are kept out of the way for obvious reasons & my son only clicked a link to something relating to a psp, he also had not heard of screenselect.

How do they do this??? & how many other people have been scammed, as thats how I see it.

There's a couple of things going around where you sign up to screenselect's free trial and get a ******* and PSP, but you have to refer 5 friends to do the same. It isn't really a scam, It's your son's fault. He probably didn't read through it properley and just signed up and didn't cancel. The easiest thing to do would probably phone screenselect up and say you haven't used their service for the months you have been charged. If they don't give you a refund, Try phoning your bank up and do a chargeback.
