just fired off a nicely worded email about how cr*p their search facility is
it's just not working for me it doesn't matter what i type in all l i get is the usual
We Found No DVD's Matching Your Search Terms or Filter Options

so i thought i'd try deadwood and guess what yep "We Found No DVD's Matching Your Search Terms or Filter Options"
which is quite remarkable seeing how i received deadwood disc 4 this morning

if they can get this sorted they could be the best as their turnaround is still spot on

Yep, i've just discovered the same thing - according to the search engine, MMS have no titles with the word 'THE' in it.

Jiltz, how did you find Comic Strip and Doctor Who?? When i emailed MMS they 'admitted' (yesterday)to not having them, and said they'd order them. Obviously even the staff can't search their own database.

So, how on earth did you find them?

By pure luck I guess......lol

I've not been able to visit their site today to re-trace my steps, but I think I typed in "Christopher Eccleston". (the full name)
Also for The Comic Strip, I may have typed in "Comic" then went through all the results for the word, "comic" until I found it.

Anyway, it was something like that......Very Happy

I'm surprised that their staff couldn't find it, unless they use the same search engine as us.

Let's hope they improve that search engine while it's offline. I agree that it's absolutely appalling - a real pain in the neck after experiencing Lovefilm's excellent search engine and option to pre-order titles that aren't out yet. (Shame that Lovefilm's service isn't as good as its site!)

Found this site when searching for a new rental co.....Hello all. It's good to find a decent DVD rental service and like some on this forum have just signed up with Mymoviestream.........Problems!!! after registering I now cannot get into the site again it will not accept my combination of email or password. Also the search facility is not very good, they must still be having problems.........I have received a confirmation email saying add titles to your list which I have done so do you think I will get the first 3.......I know it's the weekend (reg friday pm) so it will be next week now.....I have also tried ringing the number that was put up here but no answer will try again Monday. Anyone else had problems logging on when first joined their site....... BTW have also sent them an email but no reply yet (but it is the weekend)..............Cheers

My problem has now been solved. I had to re-register with their site because the first time I registered they said I had not..........Strange because I had had a confirmation e-mail from them.........First 3 DVDS are on the way.

Not that I've trailed these guys... a bit hard now that I'm back in Oz and HELLO to everyone, but in reading all your comments, these guys seem to be doing really well.. but their website certainly needs a lot of work.

A hell of alot of work.

I just typed in 'ring' as my keyword, it produced no results, even 'the ring' and no joy. I mean what the............ So if i want to rent Ring 0, Ring or Ring 2 i have to go to Horror and then scroll all the way through the titles until i eventually find them.

Sorry MMS, but that is not good enough. The search engine on a rental site is a fundamental basic and they should not open for business until it works properly.

That aside they are giving me a good service. Laughing
