Disc based trials will become screenselect trials which may be better for those who dont get much time to watch dvds and only managed to watch a few discs.
But those who really wanted to find out how many dvds they could get if they were on unlimited package it will be harder.
This could mean when you take a trial out may you may be more like to receive your top dvds as there will be less people trialling and having alot of dvds out and more dvds to go around.
| Quote: | Trials:
ScreenSelect is no longer offering a "time based trial". Certain partner arrangements (where there are offers in print and therefore still valid) will remain time-based but for all other campaigns our standard trial offer is 4 free DVD rentals. The average rental cost on the high street in the last year was £3.12 so in essence we are giving away over £12 in free DVD rentals, without the double journey to the video shop, and with free delivery to and from the customers door. |

I doubt it. The chances of getting the top 4 dvds from a time based trial are very likely anyway. There are no advantages for the customer using disc based trials, they are just being mean. |
