Utter garbage. Avoid at all costs.

I left Global to join Lovefilm due to the former supplying far too many faulty DVD's. Lovefilm started out fairly well with my titles being sent out pretty quickly. However, after a few weeks the rate of dispatch slowed down dramatically even although I had over 40 titles in my waiting list.
I was paying for 3-at-a-time but was receiving only one or two per week.
I sent numerous emails of which most were ignored.
I eventually received a reply which basically said that if you paid the least you got a better service. So why advertise their service as "unlimited"?
In my final month with these cowboys I received 7 DVD's. All were from the bottom half of my waiting list.
When the service deteriorated further I called up to cancel.

"Lovefilm Customer Service, How can I help"?

"I would like to cancel my account". They took my details.

"Can I ask why you are cancelling"?

"cr*p service".

Pregnant pause and thankfully no on-the-spot incentives to stay with them.

"Your account has been cancelled".


Never again. I joined Blockbuster after that and have had an excellent service all round.
