I am (quite legally) going to on-line rental companies & using their free trials (have been for a couple of months) without complaint.
However I would like to warn people against Movieconnect. I cancelled my account 2 days before the end of the free trial & returned any disks. There was a disk that had been pending for 3 days. So I emailed then twice telling them I had cancelled & to not send out the disk.
These mails went un-answered (despite automated messages saying they should be answered within 24 hours (this was last Tuesday & neither have bee answered yet).
I did get an automated mail saying that my enrolment deactivation was complete, yet the disk was still pending (every other disk was sent out straight away. 2 days after I got the enrolment deactivation email, the disk was shipped to me & was sent back straight away
Today £14.99 was taken out of my account. |

| Conact movieconnect and demand a refund. If they don't then contact your bank to see if you can do a chargeback. |
