I've had 2 discs in the last 10 days that have been "cracked" from the centre of the disc to the outer edge.

Gave them a call today, because I don't want to be held responsible for this damage and I suggested that they return to using the plastic cases, to protect the discs.
My response......."You won't be held responsible and I'll pass your comments on".

Could easily blame the Royal Mail, but MyMovieStream don't use protective plastic cases and their discs seem to be in good condition.

Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing bad discs from BB lately?

I haven't had that problem. I have had one disc in the last month that was scratched to s*** but that isn't too bad, one disc in about twenty.

I have been impressed since re-joining as they seem to be a little bit better than they used to in getting films from your list. Am going to stick them out awhile as definitely think there is some promise with them and if they turn cr*p, I will finally get around to MMS.

I haven't had any that were cracked, but thye have been badly scratched, to the point of unplayable on some, (but i buffed them out Smile ) even recent released movies, so its not as though you would expect them to be so badly damaged,

Maybe they should put a little sticker on the paper case, "Please note.. these are not beer or coffee coasters"

Judging by the damage to some discs folks must be using them as such Sad

They were whizzing along nicely for the past week and a half, but now the turnaround has stopped almost dead... 1 disc sent out on 21st, and 2 empty slots since then... almost 100 discs on my list so hopefully somthing else will get sent out today..i guess i'm just unlucky Sad

Used to get quite a few like that from in-movies and some of the older rental companies until they all switched to clamshell cases.

So far so good with Blockbuster, only a couple of unplayable disks in the last few months (although I agree that quite a few have been used as coasters by previous customers)
