Under FAQ it states:
Try it today
To try MyMovieStream today, simply click on START FREE TRIAL. It only takes a moment to enter your details, and once you’re done you can build your list of DVDs straight away.
You can cancel at any time, without charge. If you're still on your free trial, simply cancel before your free trial is up (i.e. Before you return your 4th DVD and within 2 weeks of joining), then return any DVDs you still have, and you won't owe us a penny.
If you're happy with the service - and we're sure you will be - just keep enjoying your DVDs and your full, 3-Disk membership will continue automatically after the trial, for as long as you choose to stay with us.
So is the free trial limited to only 4 DVDs? This is not made clear in the terms and conditions.
The T&C state:
• Free trials
Free trials are only available to new subscribers of www.MyMovieStream.com. Previous subscribers or trialists (of www.MyMovieStream.com) do not qualify for a free trial. Only one free trial may be redeemed per household and a free trial may not be combined with any other offer. You must have internet access and a valid debit/credit card to redeem a free trial offer.
No actual charges will be made against the card if you cancel prior to the end of your free trial. However, upon registering for your free trial, your debit/credit card will be validated to verify your identity, and to protect us from theft and fraud.
We will begin billing you for monthly subscription fees for the MyMovieStream service at the end of your free trial unless you cancel prior to the end of your free trial. We will continue to bill you by your chosen payment method on a monthly basis for the MyMovieStream service until you cancel.
You must cancel your account before the end of your free trial to avoid charges. For instructions on how to do this, see the section on 'cancellation' below.
So, what is it, unlimited 2 week trial or 4 DVD within 2 weeks????
If so I'd say this is a bit underhanded. |

Stop making 2 threads and crying about the same thing. Nothing is "underhanded" about these guys, I signed up for a 14 day trial and cancelled 13 days into it. I found the service wonderfull and after I have used up all my other trials on other services I will most likly head back here and pay for a subscription. These guys are WAY better the lovefilm/movieconnect/BB and others I have tried. My only worry is when there database grows will they be able to continue this excellent service and also there website functions are pretty back but useable.
Aenima - As for the:

Well IE means example and nothing else. Mymovieconnect doesn't have a 4 DVD package and this either means when you return your 4th DVD/7th DVD/100th DVD.. within 2 weeks of joining you must cancel. Get it?
Mymoviesteam offers a UNLIMITED 2 WEEK TRIAL
I recomend mymoviestream to everyone because this is at the moment above the rest! |

Have to disagree with you.
Looks like they did an unlimited 2 week free trial but not any more.
http://www.mymoviestream.com/faq/
| Quote: | | Your Free Trial entitles you to watch up to 4 titles within 2 weeks of joining, for free, so that you can see how fast, convenient and reliable MyMovieStream is. If you then decide it's not for you, simply tell us you want to cancel your account within 2 weeks of joining and before you send your 4th DVD back. |
Yes, I still think they are a decent company (which isn't difficult when you look at the others), but they have obviously reduced the amount of dvds during the free trial and it would be easy to join, thinking their free trial is unlimited.
I suppose I was fortunate, joining when the "2 week unlimited free trial", was available. |

TMO, first of all this is a free board. Unless admin tells me different I WILL post threads where I feel they are appropriate and will be of benefit to other members. I've been on the boards a long time and hope I've made a valuable contribution to this small community. Secondly, you need to brush up on your latin abbreviations mate. e.g. means example i.e. means - that is. Get it!!! Obviously you don't. As Basil Fawlty said "None of us likes to be wrong, I certainly don't".
BTW, Mymoviestream now DO have a 4DVD limit in the 14day free trial period and they hadn't included it in the T&C. Seems you are wrong yet again mate. Bad luck. I'm sure you won't cry about it....will you i.e. Boo Hoo. Maybe I should just go to Watchdog about them being misleading in their T&C like someone else suggested we all did about LF. I wonder who that was, wanting us to go crying along with them to Watchdog??????
As for MMS, I don't know what they are like. I haven't tried them yet. But I do read things carefully before I start free trials, even the latin abbreviation i.e. i.e. and e.g. that is, for example....it's sooooo confusing.
Bloody Romans, what did they ever do for TMO, apart from confuse him.
