So Robo, here's a piece of advice for you and your buddies at MC:

You are better off scrapping the 14-day free trial offer altogether if you are going to be bitter and act inappropriately towards free-triallers.

And so they do scrap their 14-day free trial offer altogether, probably after realising that they could not afford to offer the free trial gracefully. I rest my case here.

I wouldn't bet on that, although only time will tell.

Then again, it is highly unlikely that they will get any new customers with their new Amazon-like tariffs coupled with a serious lack of customer care.

flower, did u try a chargeback?

crazyfj, how's your free trial been?

hi

well for some reason the 14 days free trial was on showing 9 days on-line, so I e-mailed them and they give me a different billing date that was on screen.

they did'nt have recent stuff in stock, so after the problems with the billing date and everyone problems on the forum I just cancelled to be save. i did get a few dvd's and they where quick with the turnaround.

i'll stick with blockbuster!

yeap, turnaround was never a problem Arrow except for when it comes to returning the outstanding discs in time before the cut-off date for cancellation, in which case it seemed to take 5 days for discs to reach them from when the customer posted them. Rolling Eyes

i would have to put you down as the first person i know of, who signed up for their free trial, got and watched a few DVDs, and managed to cancel the free trial without having to pay anything. Congratulations !!! Very Happy
