First post.
I was (one of the few) regulars on the Mailbox Movies forums which were still active until last week when the plug was finally pulled by their new masters ScreenSelect.
I'm hoping that you'll welcome any other refugees/fugitives like myself. |

Hi Enzyme.....
I never knew about that forum, but if there was any negative feedback about SS, then I could see why they would have pulled the plug.

Mailbox Movies was the only DVD rental company with it's own forum. They didn't seem to mind criticism either. Mind you, there was never much to criticise. I only ever had one post deleted while using the board.
When MM got taken over by DVDs365 they kept the forum live but it wasn't linked from the homepage for ages. When they finally added a link it was never announced so people tended to stumble across it by accident. Then SS took over and simply redirected traffic from the MM site to their own but the forum was still there if you used a bookmark.
Anyway, a week ago it finally got the plug pulled so here I am. |
