Hey,

What are your views on this? Do you think the service will be ok for 2 months? It is only £13.95 for 2 months on the unlimited 3 package. Hmm...

What fast trak feature? Can you explain a little more? Thanks.

I think it's great value for money. I've been with lovefilm before and they were fine but I was a low volume user - no more than 3 films per week normally. I know of higher volume users who were not happy with their service.

The fast trak service means that some titles will show on your queue with a tick box next to them which if you tick will become 'fast trak' and guaranteed to be on your next despatch.

"..."Fast Trak" lets you guarantee an available next day delivery."

LF can offer 26months for the price of 1month and I wouldn't go for it. LF can **** right off as far as I'm concerned. Totally cr*p. What also pisses me off about them is they advertise recent releases as "free trial" then when you sign up you find out that you have basically reserved it for the time it is actually released. Just more carrot on stick tactics.

Cheers,
A

The "3 discs a week" seems to be the standard with them regardless of the package arrangement.

If you had read all the feedback, you would clearly see that they have a bad reputation.

Anyway, hope you let us know how you get on with this Fast Trak service.

I'm using them on their latest "3 months for 1 offer" and after over a month I'm averaging 5 films a week which has surprised me.

Of course after the 3 months are up there's no way I'll carry on with them but this deal has worked well for me and not them which is nice! Laughing

Aaaag Lovefilm make me sooo angry.

Their Lite6 package (6 discs a month) is £9.95 and underneath this is listed the Unlimited3 - (unlimited rentals) for £13.85.

This totally gives the impression that their unlimited serice IS unlimited - especially when you compare it to the Lite packages above.

I agree with you Jiltz I don't think it's really possible to get any more than about 12 a month. That's not unlimited.

I missed cancelling LoveFilm last month but I'm ditching them in a couple of weeks.

Hey Waldo.....make sure you set some kind of alarm clock, or they might suck you in for another month......LOL

I finish with them next weekend and I'm thinking of getting shot of them tomorrow, just to be on the safe side.

I must say that getting rid of LoveFilm, will be like having a wart removed.

Very Happy

I rejoined lovefilm exactly a week ago. So far they've had 6 working days to post films out to me. On Monday they sent me my first 2 although I'm on the 3 disk package. Since then I have returned these disks and lovefilm have not sent out any. So that's 2 disks in 1 week - not looking good.

I've been waiting since April for LoveFilm to unsuspend my account (due to missing disks) so I can complete my 3 months for 1 offer.

Supposedly I have to wait until the Royal Mail claim forms have been dealt with - but those seem to be lost in the post as well Crying or Very sad

I have absolutely no problems with post from any other rental company (currently with Blockbuster and DVDs usually arrive next day whichever way they are travelling) and the only other time a disk has been lost in the post (with Tesco/Video Island) the claim form arrived within a month.

As a high-volume customer (around 20-30 disks a month) I can only assume that they are using the Royal Mail as a scapegoat to avoid giving me the free rentals I signed up for.

No problems with Blockbuster, so I'll be sticking with them whatever offers LoveFilm may dangle under my nose.
