I just got an email from CD-wow,looks like they are teaming up with Love Film and offering a 2 week trial.

I Bought Clerks from cd wow last week as it was an American dvd for only £7.99 Even Cheaper than Play.Com

Ive already been with LoveFilm for a free trial, so i might not get another with cd wow, but iam going to try anyway.

they only give you the voucher IF you join after the free trial (they try and suggest otherwise with their wording on the adverts though)!!


Use the code "fr25" when signing up and you should get 4 weeks trial instead of the usual 2

i liked Lovefilm, and have trialed them before but i will try to have another go with CD-wow

yes, they are perhaps the most cost effective online guys around too

As Terms and Conditions its say:

The Free Trial is available to new subscribers only. Existing subscribers, or those who have previously enjoyed a free trial period with LOVEFiLM, or any LOVEFiLM-powered site are not eligible and will be billed normally for use of the service.

I tried to join the CD-Wow trial using a different email address as I had already used Lovefilm and they did know.I got a warning that told me to cancel my account within 30 minutes or I would be billed. Rolling Eyes

I just tried it and they have asked me to cancel my account immediately

i have done so and they buggers have tried to bill me

BE WARNED CD-WOW is LOVEFILM all over again

DO NOT TRY A SECOND FREE TRIAL

Hi all - long time reader, first time poster! Very Happy

Fortunately I hadn't got around to trying LoveFilm before I joined CD-Wow.

So far they've been pretty good, with every selection that I've received to date coming from the top 5-10 of my list. In addition, the current offer gives you a voucher after the trial entitling you to the R3 version of Hero for only £2! Pity the trial is only 2 weeks, though you can get a free month for every one of your friends you persuade to sign up (they also get their trial extended to 4 weeks)

They're still not the best that I've tried, but they've been better than most.
