This occurred to me recently while playing with subtitles... they could be an educational aid. If (like me) you don't speak French, but would like to start learning, and hate the thought of actually having to learn.... watch one of your favourite DVDs. IN FRENCH. Turn the English subtitles on. Then as you progress, turn the subtitles off. When you didn't understand, rewind, subtitles on again, and off you go.
Just a thought. |
