Logged into screenselect (account cancelled) and the last billing date was March which was when I cancelled however THE DVD BIZ LTD, EDINBURG EH4 have been taking out £26.99 since... and I have only noticed today!

Also says: You have no DVDs at home right now.

Can anyone please advise or help?

have tried customer service but no emails back at all!

Try emailing phoning them again. If no reply, after about 2-3 weeks, contact yuour bank and try to arrange a chargeback.

DVDs365 are based in Scotland, did you ever use them at all? Sounds like their largest package and they are well known for screwing their customers over for payments even once you have left. Sad

Turns out a DVD was lost in the post after I cancelled... never told me of this and obviously when I go to check my DVDs365 account, I can't - because screenselect have taken them over.

Charged 3 x £26.99

Asked for proof of postage... I sent it off in May, not even I am that organised!

The chap was alright I guess but no refunds issues until proof of postage Sad so I guess just wil have to write an email/letter saying no proof of postage can be found - and I want my flippin' £80.97 back!

Sad

I suspect they probably quoted their "terms" back at you which stated that you must report dvds lost after cancellation within 7 days.

Thing is, their terms haven't always said that and they update their terms leaving an old date on them. There is proof on other threads on this formum.

Also I think the above would probably be in violation of a fair contract.

If these guys were legit they would say: DVD was lost. £80 it didn't cost. Pay us the lost DVD and we will refund the rest.

Except they claim the loss as a tax expense and rip you to shreds. Be wary of Dvds365 and Bill Dobbie.
