Hi all
Here is my brief summary of my recent BB trial:
Total of 24 titles dispatched. Three of which were double disc so 27 DVDs in all. Out of these only one wouldn’t play. However, I didn’t get anything from my top 10!! Which is pathetic, also, trying to rent a series wasn’t possible over the month. I got one disc (disc 2!!!) of a six disc series and 2 discs from another 3 disc series. I didn’t tend to have this problem with Lovefilm or Screenselect but this may be diffferent now of course. Cancellation was a bit weird but problem free. It took three days for them to finally cancel after they had received my last three DVDs. With all other trials cancellation was almost instant when they received outstanding DVDs. I would say that it’s always advisable to test the cancellation procedure of any company even if you intend sticking with them. This should be part of your assessment of their service

Cheers,
A

You obviously didn't select first-to-last on the series releases which will ensure you receive these disks in order.

During my trial with Blockbuster (a while back) I got the first series of 24 (top of my list) as my first 6 disks

I usually find that once they start sending a series then you tend to get them as consecutive rentals

Completely agree !!

Anyway, I cancelled a few days ago myself and today it looks like it is finally sorted.
I cancelled a day early and they have refunded 93 Pence to my account.
BB also give 28 days to return any outstanding discs, which is decent in my opinion.

Very Happy
