Hi

We are sorry to see that you have cancelled your CheekyDVD account.

We would like to let you know that CheekyDVD has recently undergone a
change of management.

Also, we are aware that lately our service has been less than
satisfactory in some areas.

The new management at CheekyDVD are working extremely hard to bring our
service back to the high levels expected by our customers and delivered
until recently.

We are adding more stock and new titles over the coming weeks, and we
promise to respond to support queries much more quickly.

We would like to invite you to give us another chance, and so we can
offer you another TWO WEEK FREE TRIAL on us.

If afterwards you're still not happy with out service, we promise we
will charge you nothing.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, reply to this email
and we will reactivate your account.

Thank you for your time,

The CheekyDVD support team

Anyone up for another free trial... hehehe, maybe not. Wink

Dear Customer,

As you may be aware, CheekyDVD has recently undergone a change of management.

Unfortunately, during this change our email support database has been lost.

I realise this may be an inconvenience, but if you had an outstanding support issue with us please could you re-send it. We will then respond as quickly as possible.

We have also been aware that recently our service has been less than satisfactory in some areas.

The new management at CheekyDVD would like to assure you that we are working extremely hard to bring service back to the high levels expected by our customers and delivered until recently.

More stock and new titles are being added over the coming weeks, and we promise to respond to support queries much more quickly.

As a gesture of our goodwill, and to thank you for your patience, we would like you to accept TWO FREEK WEEKS of DVD rental on us, which has been credited to your account.

If you have any other queries, please do not hesitate to email us at support@cheekydvd.com.

After all the emails and hassle, my account has FINALLY been cancelled today by them!!!!!
Got the same emails as the rest of you guys but thought better of sticking around to see if things got better...once bitten, twice shy!
Question now, is there any other provider out there who is reliable?

Just to add my anger at this bunch of con artists...

I've basically lost three dvds in the post (so they claim), and they are refusing to cancel my account until I've returned them! They originally told me my account was cancelled (after I'd had enough of being ripped off and feeling like they couldn't be trusted), but they have continued taking at least four months worth of payments anyway, which they refuse to refund.

As embarrasing as it may be, I will take this down legal avenues if need be, as I refuse to let these c*nts take me for a ride. Evil or Very Mad

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Just get your bank to stop all payments to them. It's a pain in the arse to do and you have to tell your bank its a fradulant payment. If they refuse to cancel after you have instructed them to do so, surley that is fraud.

So get the bank to refuse all payments and to take the last one back. Tell cheeky you are doing this as your account is cancelled. If they take more payments your bank can take the money back. They will charge cheeky if they keep taking payments.

Can't find any details of who they actually are. I wonder if Cheeky have re-invented themselves?

I think they have reinvented themselves.

They seem to have identical libraries.

Try search for a title., and they overlap very very closely.

I'm considering cancelling, so thanks to all who have had the principle to post these notes.

Will cancel at my bank as well. (thanks for that)

It makes you wonder if they are simply saying the DVD's are lost in the post and billing your creditcard, because whenever a DVD has been lost, it is never removed from the library afterwards. Makes you think doesn't it!! This also fits with the fact that the DVDs always go missing on the way back to them.

Has anyone tried dvdmonthly.com (sounds like they are from overseas)

I think Cheeky has more titles and has been going longer, I was a member of Cheeky and am still a member of www.adult-*********-dvd-movies.net

I think the reason the titles are similar is because they are all ******* titles Wink

I have had a couple of problems but a nice girl called Kate has always sorted me out and also compensated me for delays and loss of service Laughing thumbs up and Im still a member of adult ********* movies net.

Apparently they are in exactly the same building in exactly the same town as cheekyDVD. From first glace they also have the same library as cheeky DVD. However they say they are not cheekyDVD and they get asked that question all the time. As Harry Hill says "What are the chances of that!!!"

With all repsect to all other posts that last one was sarcasm at it's finest!!

Well done Kearney, I could have told you about the location, its almost the same address on the return envelopes Smile

Doesnt mean its the same company though, thats a bit like saying all the hookers in amsterdam belong to the same company cos they are in the same street. Either way Im getting a decent service and quite happy Smile

Im glad these guys are at least attempting to provide me with my goodies.
