Ok before I get shot, I'm what LoveFilm regards as a heavy user and am rationed by their 'fair play' policy.
My problem is that they refuse to answer the simple question - How Many?
I have no problem with DVD365s clearly quoted maximums OR their clearly stated intent to charge another month immediately I go over their limits. (Will that stay when screenselect grab the reins - Tesco has now slowed down to a trickle)
£14.99 and 20 rentals with 3 at home looks like heaven compared to LoveFilm's 1 a week per number at home thievery.
If they manage to get them out we'd have gone over to the 5 at home ***40*** a month luxury.
If limits are clearly quoted there's no problem with them. It is when Gits like LoveFilm state UNLIMITED in every space and then ration users to LESS THAN HALF the maximum of their competition.
Crazy I may be but I'm prepared to PAY for three or four rental subscriptions as long as I don't get ripped off.

PS - And before the twerp who is trying to provoke people with coments about 'social lives' and being 'gluttons starts - I'm 50 and well over 60 stone and I'll splat on him from a great height if he ever gets in the way of my 'limitless buffet'. Films is one thing food is another - GAWDS he'll be stopping my bottomless cup of coffee next!!!!!!!!!! |

If you pardon the pun.....that "twerp" soon found out to his horror, that he had bitten off more than he could chew.
It's a sad fact though, that so many companies knowingly cheat customers and get away with it. Many of them play on the fact that so few customers complain and it makes it harder for others, to try to do something about it.
There will always be "twerps" out there that don't bother when they have been overcharged or given short measures. Yet when they start preaching their "holier than thou" sermons, to angry cheated customers, they always make a run for the nearest exit.
Yes, perhaps a company like Lovefilm should do the same as DVDs365 and give out a limited amount each month and tell everyone what that amount will be, instead of lying to everyone with their "unlimited" claim.
