wow, it really does work. Anyway, i've been monitoring this site for over a year now but never thought about contributing 'till now. Guess i want to give a little back to the dvd community. Anyways, I have tried all the rental companies (a few times over) and in various incarnations ('nuff said) and consider myself somewhat of an expert on trials etcc.. I humbly suggest that at present, Mymoviestream do seem to be genuine about the delay and their turnaround has been exemplory up until the delay end of last week - beginning of this. Hope this helps. Look forward to contributing more

I think people are jumping the gun a bit too quickly here in condemming mymoviestream. Give them time to prove that this was genuinely a delay caused by Royal Mail. I did more than most to highlight Lovefilm's antics so i'm not soft on bad business activities- just take what they say at face value for now....and respect the fact that they took time to post on here. It shows they actually give a damn. When did Lovefilm/Screenselect etc ever do that? Don't tar them with the same brush.

you may be right and i am giving them a chance i've even paid for another month hoping it was just a one off
but at first they blamed the events in london which was fair enough for a couple of days but as i mentioned before other companies in and around london had no problems sending stuff out
then it was a dispute with their local post depot and then finally there was a problem with their email system
then they post on here saying they will answer all emails immediatley which turns out to be 3 days later and all this was going on as lot of people were in the last stages of the free trial and couldn't send the discs back as they hadn't turned up so looked like getting charged for another month
not exactly a confidence booster

but now i've got my problem with sorted i'm giving them another chance as their turnaround is/was the best of the lot i just hope if things go wrong again they'll put a post up on their website explaining instead of leaving us all wondering

My trial has now come to a satisfactory end.My last 2 discs were acknowledged as received this morning...7 days after my trial was concluded.
Apart from the blip towards the end,the turnaround service was exemplory and i would have no hesitation in using these guys again in the future.
Well done to a new company.Keep it up. Smile
Note to MMS customer services,if you're reading this please try to speed up the email replies and how about putting your phone number on the site.

Amen to that. I too am nearing the end of a trial. Apart from the few days post London atrocities the service has been as good as the companies used to be going back 18 months when few people used postel dvd rental. Hope it continues. Its good they give you 7 days to return discs as it really is a 14 day trial. Good on ya

Just remember though that most of these companies are great on a trial and it's how they pull the punters in by pulling out all the stops for trialists.

Even LF are great on a trial, remember that. Surprised

I'm 2 weeks into my first paid month and perfect so far. Couldn't ask for a quicker turnaround.

A change of mind for me.........Very Happy

How can one argue with so much positive feedback.

Joined them last night and they have sent out 3 discs today (should get them tomorrow).

If they give me good service, then they will get next months money (instead of Blockbuster).

Sounding good right now.

Only thing that puts me off is their range of discs, seems very small. Sad
