If you know, then why don't you quit playing games and tell us who?

Very shortly, 'www.dvds365.com' and the 3 other websites which they power will all be run by 'Video Island'.

You heard it here first.

Trust me it will happen! The takeover is scheduled for around 31 July 2005.

Sounds likely, anybody taken a look at their Screenselect a/c of late and the pricing structure of various packages??

I would advise you to do so!

Quote:

Subscription
Package Number of
DVD allowed at once Number of
rentals per month Monthly
fee
1 DVD - 4 per month 1 4 £7.99
1 DVD - Unlimited 1 Unlimited £9.99
2 DVDs - 5 per month 2 5 £9.99
2 DVDs - Unlimited 2 Unlimited £12.49
3 DVDs - 10 per month 3 10 £14.99
3 DVDs - Unlimited 3 Unlimited £16.99

Yes a crafty move, they have put the price up by £2 but not yet added that to the cost of existing subscribers .... well not mine as of now and I've not received any email advising of this. So takeover almost everyone else and whack the prices up, so many of these smaller firms that have been swallowed up by SS were great rental companies now they've taken almost everyone over along with LF who have done similar.

So now all we will have left is a MacDonalds and Burger King scenario. Great I don't think! Sad

Perhaps the redundant workers from DVDs365 should migrate to Lovefilm and teach them the ins & outs of good customer service.

The heady days of lots of free trials are definitely coming to an end. I'm glad I made hay.
