I signed up to 1DVD 7 days ago, all went fine until I realised what a useless website they have.

My user account merely contains my rent list, and viewed list. Ive added 10 films to my rent list, but have no indication on the status of each movie. My list has not changed since I signed up, therefore my 2 week trial has half gone.

I emailed customer services asking for an explanation on 2 occasions, no reply from either. Their terms and conditions are misleading, there is no way to see what movies i'm renting, no customer support, no user account pages, no payment information.. what do I do?

I'm going to cancel, though it seems I have to email them to cancel. Why cant they just have an online form like all the other companies? Tell me this isnt a hoax, and someone has had a good experience?

Sorry for my rant, just fed up with the useless company.

I have had a fairly positive experience, even though I lost faith for a short while. I know they are a fairly small company, but if I have any queries, they always respond within 24 hours if not sooner.

Equally, I contacted them last week because there were a few films they didn't list that I wanted to see, and they have now got every single one of them.

They may not always provide you with the top 5 choices instantly, but you usually get there in the end, it's just a case of persevering. I joined them in February and I'm still with them, even though I did recently join a Blockbusters trial after a recommendation - seriously let down on the first to last issue, but that's another story.
