Not “coming soon to you" a DVD rental service that promises unlimited DVD rental for a 3 for the price of 1 offer. Better if you say it a Hollywood kind of voice.
Just to add my two pence worth, nearly into my 3rd month don’t think I will make it though as Love film have led me to believe I’m living in an insecure postal region. They state that films have been sent out to me, yet I haven’t received them, by the way I have received every other package/letter from around the world (these Love film envelopes must make big money on the black market). So I’m confused, other DVD rental companies have never had a problem but Love film do.
When trying to respond I get very little help apart from being assured that they are carrying out investigations (heard nothing from the Royal Mail yet though), while they do this they penalise me by suspending my account.
Oh yeah and the turn around is terrible 2 DVDs sent back Friday, Monday both recognised as sent back Wednesday one sent out????? |

If everyone put in their 2 pence worth, the negative feedback would far outweigh the positive.Anybody else out there who feels badly done by,let's hear from you.Perhaps we can show these lovefilm lovers how bad this situation is. |

Seriously you really do need to get out more, if discs are being stolen on there way to you it is not cost effective for you or them, just cancel & stop whining.
As I said in a previous post why carry on using something your not happy with? Oh what's that you say? "your in your 2 free months?"!!! |

People beware this is a member of Love Film staff, the last correspondence I had from Love Film was spelt just as bad. You don’t get it do you, I can’t stand the ******, jobs worth attitude of people at the end of a “customer service” line, couldn’t care if it was one month or a year it’s the principle. Do you think for one moment that the discs missing scenario is just another scam?
Aren’t there any parks you can visit? |

I already suspected that last week......
Check out the LoveFilm defending posts he made here > http://dvdtrials.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=234&start=15&sid=642d99273e3cf6885775a7bfecbb6017
Another one to watch out for in the "brown stuff around the lips" is Ruggedtoast.
They are a real givaway.....with the "Get a Life"....."Get Out More" sort of remarks, which makes me believe that they might even know each other........LOL
Remember this J2K4 (or whatever your works number is).......If LoveFilm can shaft all it's customers, then they will think nothing of shafting their workforce. So I think it is you, who may need to "get out more".....looking for another job.
Just remember who pays your wages......IT'S US !!!

| Yep,I've got those 2 marked down as suspects. They appear to be unique in respect of getting perfect service and stoutly defend lovefilm in the face of overwhelming complaints from almost everyone else on this forum. They are constantly telling us to simply walk away, which in my opinion is what lovefilm wants us to do as we are potential high users and complainers. They only want people they can screw and who bow down to their tactics. |

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Seriously, because someone states that they are receiving a good service from them they are automatically staff?
What a sad world we live in.
Don't worry I'm sure they'll do something wrong soon enough & I'll be letting you all know, but then again as I work for them why would I eh?
I am simpley someone who has not had any problems with them as yet, nothing more nothing less, stop thinking too much about it. |

Yes it is a sad world we live in, when people like you defend a cheating company like LoveFilm.
Unlike a decent company like Blockbuster who offer to give back any money for any part of a month when someone decides to cancel, LoveFilm KEEP THE MONEY........they do not give REFUNDS.
This is just one aspect of the unfriendly service that LoveFilm dish out to their customers.
They don't care whether people stop doing business with them, because they act on the principle of, "there is a mug born every minute"
After attracting new customers with their false promotions, then changing their terms after grabbing the money, might work for them on the short term, but the day will come when they will have to pay the piper.
So you are quite correct about it being a sad world we live in when a company like LoveFilm are allowed to breach the act of Fair Trading and get away with it. |

It is weird that one person (j2k4) in a million gets great service from Lovefilm. Bet you he won the free dvd player too. That must be where all my disc allocation was going to.
You know, pay for 3 discs get none... or one at a time, with delays thrown in for good measure.
Well i didn't last the 'trial' period, i got tired of all the bullcrap and delays. I also don't want to become a victim of phase two. That is where they won't let you cancel and contine to take cash from your account, finally setting debt collectors on to you.
I urge all subscribbers of this outfit to leave now BEFORE phase 2.
You have been warned. |

*raises hand*
I also (re)joined them based on their 3 months for the price of 1 offer. I'm somewhat a little past half way through the 3 months and they've now suspended my account indefinately. They say 3 DVDs were lost over the past 3 months...
Whilst I was with DVDs365 -- 6 DVDs were lost and 1 damaged in transit yet... DVDs365 didn't terminate my account...
I've already decided I'm going to call them on a daily basis now to give them hell for this. |

Lost 2 films from Lovefilm in November - paperwork from the Royal Mail arrived in May
Lost 1 film from Tesco in March - paperwork arrived in May
looks like another stalling technique - suspend account until resolution with Royal Mail, but delay that investigation as long as possible |

| I think I've only received 2 of those forms in my entire life -- although over 15 DVDs were lost in the mail throughout my time with both Lovefilm and DVDs365. I think the last one that arrived was for Lovefilm and it arrived so late I had no record of which movie it even was. |
