OK, for a large group of customers (including me) Lovefilm have had considerable difficulties over the last month. Poor turnaround, lack of information, suspicion of 3 months for 1 offer customers being "downgraded" etc etc.

Over the last week, my personal experience is that they have got their act well and truly sorted, and are back to the levels of service I might expect, and had received during the first month of my current subscription period.

Two sets of three disks turned round in minimum time, no problem. Choices from the top, or near the top of the list.

Anyone else seen a significant improvement in the last 7 days?

I was just about to post a similar thread - a DVD posted yesterday has just had a new disc allocated already (11am the next day).
Just in the nick of time - I was just looking around alternative companies with a view to cancelling my LoveFilm account until they sorted this out!

Turn around has improved for me but I' still getting DVDs low down on my list. I'll reserve judgement for the moment. Let's hope it is a start to a return to form for Lovefilm.

Well today I got my number 2 choice.

Is your experience true whatever day of the week you return your discs?

I've found that the discs sent out early/mid-week are usually high choices, but if they are allocated on Thursday/Friday then I get very low choices.

Maybe most discs are returned by customers who want movies delivered Fri/Sat so they can watch a few at the weekend - so there is a lot less stock on these particular days.

I received four discs at the end of last week and returned them over the weekend. They'd marked all recived on Monday and allocated me one disc. Still waiting for the others to be allocated Evil or Very Mad So no I haven't noticed an improvement!

Having returned all discs in the weekend and got acknowledmentt on the website. I'm still waiting for a dispatch (wed). For no reason they are only sending out ONE disk. This is clear breach of contract.
What surpises me is peaople will make lame excusses for bad service, no wonder companies like these thrive.

I'm only riding out the free period then i'm gone. These guys are utter a*******.

In regards to the main DVD list on the website, I thought Mr Admin would have put a 'warning' message (possible problems) against LoveFilm by now, considering how much negative feedback there has been. But that's not my call..

Ditto to the above!

I've been given a dispatch date of today due to "excessive demand" I'm on a four disc program - I currently have no discs allocated. I bet they only allocate 1 or 2 discs though Evil or Very Mad

I complained on the phone week before last she suggested I call her back in 2 weeks if "there's been no improvement" Guess I will have to.

Any ideas of the best independent agency to complain to? Even though they insist they're not breaking their terms and conditions - this service is not unlimited

This is what annoys me so much - they claim they're having a busy time, struggling to cope, ie offering s*** service, yet they expect us to recommend them to people!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who else is gonna dump these W*****S Question. They are basically taking the p**s out of all of us with their crappy turnaround, not sending our top picks, and an unhelpful (often non responsive) customer service dep't.
If we all bail at the same time maybe they will get the message.....

Admin: How come You aren't posting (possible problems) on the main page for Lovefilm, considering all the complaints folks are posting.
