I getting very annoyed at blockbuster.

The first email I sent them took a month to be answered!

Now I have sent a few emails and the only one they replied to was the unimportant one!

They claim they sent out a dvd ****** & Royal Mail misdelivered it and returned it back to them. Then they say they will endeavour to not let it happen again...... I would have believed it was a royal mail mistake, until the last bit. I reckon they put the piece of card the wrong way around, so it ws posted straight back to them! Why would royal mail ignore the big address on front & send something to the small return to address on the back...when sorting it alongside the other DVD's from blockbuster... What do you reckon is more likely?

They have not replied to a request as to if they really have all the titles in my list. I suspect they don't, as I had 46 in the list and they had nothing to send me. Some titles have been at the top of my list for quite a few months now, and I doubt they are hot in demand.

I also have had one lost in post, and I have been caught out by the 30 day thing. Since I have had another one lost in post I have to email. Great! Would be OK if they actually answered them. It was posted back with another two, so who knows how royal mail managed to lose it!

Does anyone have a phone number for these people??

I will be cancelling, but need to wait for the lost in post to be sorted out first.

I have to say, the only thing I think they have going for them is the price!

I think the service is OK when it works, but they aren't able to deliver the titles I want, and have such a bad level of customer service it's time to move on.. To who tho'?????????????

Hi Louis,
This sound like very bad service indeed. As far as I'm aware, there is no phone munber for BB. As I've said before in other posts, this is a massive drawback to customer service. E mail just doesn't seem to work in most cases with these companies. I've experienced it many timeS myself.

I can't belive they can't send you something from a list of 46!! I know the bigger players like BB have a huge number of customers but that's no excuse.

Not sure what you mean re. caught out by the 30day thing? Do you mean this is relation to the lost returns? Have you got certificate of posting for these returns?

Best thing to do is vote with your feet. Get out ASAP.

I wish you luck, sorry I can't be of more help.

Cheers,
A

The 30day thing is basically that you can only report one disc missing every 30 days, if any others go missing tou have to email about it. And hope they bother to reply. Evil or Very Mad
