Love Film had been so good. For ages all films were from my top ten, and usually from the top five. But for that last few weeks, I’ve had a run of films from right down my list. Has anyone else noticed this?

Hmm, well, in the time I've been with LoveFilm, I've always received DVD's from within my top 10. There may have been the odd 1 outside the top 10, but not too often. Depends what films are in your top 10 and their availability, I s'pose.. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.. yet.
..And HELLO from the Maldives. |

And suddenly – normal service is resumed. The last two DVDs have been from near the top of my list. Can’t believe that for about three weeks the service was so different. Anyway, I’m a satisfied customer again.

We have also found there service has gone downhill - they obviously cannot cope with the increased demand now they have expanded. We are still waiting for them to improve!! i.e. get a top 5 title!! Still waiting! ZZZzz
I think we will cancel soon as they also have v poor customer service> |

I must be really lucky, I have never had a title from outside my top 5 I've been a member for nearly 6 months & am very happy.
Always find their customer services staff to be very helpful.
I use the cd wow site. |

I'm glad someone else noticed this - I thought it was just me! In the last month or so, I rarely get my top 10(ish) titles any more and they aren't all brand new releases.
Also during the last couple of weeks I have noticed an extra day in turn around times - posting from different post boxes in different areas that have all been fine for postal service for the last 6 months.
Has anyone else noticed a slower turn around? |

I heard rumours that Lovefilm want to be rid of all the customers who return their movies fast. i.e. all the customers who return their DVDs the next day are the customers who are making them less profit.
These customers as a result will get less of a turnaround and hopefully leave. This is the same tactic used by Netflix of America. |

Hahaha, fair enough.. but I think you've gone a bit nuts as your msgs are pretty much the same over and over again, and usually just a few would do the job, no? Oooh, whatever.. it's a free forum! |

| I have to Agree with HLF, I have tried to freeze my account because the service is SH1T and they are still trying to charge me even though they admitted in an e-mail that they had had all the outstanding DVD's the week previous! Moneygrabbing barstewards! I cancelled my credit card though - so tough sh1t to them they ain't getting no more money from me!! |

Yes I am getting the same problems with them.
The service has gone from OK to utterly useless, people over at the digital spy forums have even tested them by sending back their discs via recorded delivery and lo and behold guess what happens???
Correct! LoveFilm then receive them next day surprise surprise.
I am on the 4 at a time package and am lucky to get 4 a week even if I send my films back straight away after watching them instead of the 7-8 I was getting before. I've just joined Blockbuster and the service is far superior so LoveFilm can get stuffed at the end of my billing period! |

| I have the turnaround problems recanted by most users. Although I pay for 3xDVDs rental it is fortunate to get 1-2 per week. |
