I had a two week trial and only managed to get three DVDs in that time, despite my next batch showing as 'Available Now'.
I was glad to cancel.

I trialed these guys and it was OK
The whole online DVD rental trial seems to be a lottery at best |

| Agreed, this DVD company is very slow! Ordinary plain website too. Go with Screenselect or Lovefilm, or DVDs365. |

Finally after nearly 2 days, they are sending me 3 dvd's... but this is the funny bit, and wierd. I get an email stating a dvd had been sent and then a few hours later, I get another email stating they received that same dvd back safely. Hahahaha, how stupid is that? Either they don't have the dvd and reversed it(?), or simply a c0ck up on their behalf. Yet no reply to my email, but I'm only using them for their free trial, so who cares.  |

| Their service, after a very slow start, has actually picked up and is not bad now - but not great.. bravo! |

| I have been a QFlicks (3 DVD) member since August. For the free trial period things were great next day delivery and fast 3 day turn around. Then when I started paying things went down hill fast. I have over 80 titles in my queue of films that I want to watch yet when I return a DVD they book it in the next day BUT TAKE UP TO FIVE DAYS TO SHIP MY NEXT TITLE and then I also have the delay of the post also. When I send a complaint I wait up to a week for a reply only to find that they dont answer any of my points from the email you just get what seems to be an automated apology saying that your priority has been increased and everything should be ok now. NO TOTAL LIE the service seems to get even worse. I am now changing to a new supplier and if you want my advice give QFlicks a WIDE MISS. |

Avoid this company - I was a member of Qflicks for about 3 months and I cancelled because:
everything worked fine during the trial period, but as soon as I signed up posting of new DVDs became slower and slower
more popular titles seemed to be permanently unavailable
their website and database kept falling over, so you could not use it
I have a top of the line DVD player which normally just about accepts anything you throw at it, but several DVDs were so dirty or scratched, they did not work. (You have to be realistic and expect this happening occasionally, but it just happened too often.)
several times the actual DVD sent was different from what it said on the packaging
The company seems slow, under supported and sloppy in its approach.
Definitely not recommended.
I now use DVDs365 and I am much happier. |
