Received from Dan about Postadvd not paying enough postage and nothing heard back from Postadvd.
| Quote: | | I registered for the Postadvd trial. After about 5 days I get a card from the Royal Mail telling me they had two items with insufficient postage which I needed to pay £2.14 for. These were my first two DVDs. I paid up and e-mailed Postadvd customer services. Then a third came - which I refused to pay for. Still nothing from Postadvd customer services (well past their 48-hour limit). Having investigated Postadvd they look very dodgy as a company. They are registered to the same address as a recruitment company. The same man is a director/partner in both the recruitment company and Postadvd - but on calling today I was told he had left and was not contactable. I am likely to contact Hertfordshire Trading Standards (the comapny's home authority) about this. |

| I joined the free trial and after only 6 days wanted to cancel, their DVD selection is very poor and the turnaround time is very slow. We are still waiting for them to confirm receipt of the 3 DVD's we have returned to them! On cancelation they send you a nice e-mail informing you if you dont return your DVD's to them within 5 days they will assume you want to buy them and charge you full price for them!! Hardly fair if it takes them weeks to turn around rentals! |
