|
|
I've been a satisfied member of Movietrak since May, but recently been having bad problems with them. Turnaround was always very quick - the next dvd arrived 2 days after posting the previous one. However, during December this slowed to a 3-4 day turnaround, and I haven't received anything at all from them since 20th December, despite having 27 dvd's in my queue.
I've emailed them (as they don't have a support phone number), but they have yet to respond after 3 days. I've willing to put some of this down to the Christmas period, but the lack of an email response is just bad customer service.
Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with them, or is it just me?
Anyway, if I don't hear from them by the start of next week, I'm cancelling my account with them. |

Never thought they were great anyway.. but like most companies, it'll have something to do with the xmas period, staff on holidays and Royal Mail's reputation and backlog... s-l-o-w indeed.
Hopefully things will pick up for everybody now, slowly. |

Yes, I'm going to give LoveFilm a try. I was thinking of ditching Movietrak anyway, since their selection isn't great and their website is terrible. Just wanted to share my experience here, anyway.
I can't help thinking this downturn has something to do with the merger with QFlicks... |

Hahahaha.. is it not the same story with merges. When one happens, the company tends to drop-off in service, etc. Maybe it's a complicated process thus the downfall, but who knows... it's always the same story.
And yep, LoveFilm is the way to go. |
