Just thought I'd share my recent experience of SS with you. I am coming to the end of the 30 day trial (ends 27 Dec) and have managed to rent 27 DVDs to date. One of my early rentals did not show up back at SS and was written off as lost in the post, with no bother. I received one wrong DVD and two that were unplayable in this period, all of which were replaced with the correct/playable DVDs. Considering a large part of my trial fell in the Xmas period (bad planning on my part and a note to future trialers) I'm sure you'll agree this is pretty good service. I got nearly all of my top requests apart from 2. Admittedly, most of my preferences are not recent releases so I can't comment on this part of the service. However, there is a sting in the tail. I just found out I have been billed before the end of my trial period. I am trying to resolve this at the moment and I will let you know how it turns out.
Cheers,
A |
